Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the Raha Pay parent app and wallet. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
Raha Pay provides a prepaid wallet that lets your children pay at participating school canteens using a palm scan. The school operates the reader; Raha Pay operates the wallet, the app and the notifications.
Your account
You must be the parent or legal guardian of each child you add. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address, so keep your email account and your device secure and do not share a code with anyone. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account.
The wallet is prepaid
The wallet holds money you have added in advance, during the pilot at the school. It is not a bank account, does not earn interest and cannot go into negative balance. A purchase is approved only when the balance and the limits you set allow it.
Limits and pausing
You set a daily limit for each child, and optionally a per-purchase limit. Daily limits reset at midnight Riyadh time. You can pause a child's payments at any time; paused children cannot pay until you resume.
Refunds
Refunds for a specific purchase are handled by the school canteen and credited back to your wallet. Any remaining balance when you close your account is refunded through the school canteen.
Fees
Any fee that applies to parents will be shown clearly in the app before you pay it. We agree commercial terms with each school separately.
Acceptable use
Use the service only for its purpose. Do not attempt to bypass limits, interfere with the readers, access other accounts or use the service for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from the app at any time. We will remove your data as described in the privacy policy and refund any remaining balance through the school canteen.
Liability
We work to keep the service accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We are not responsible for the goods sold by the canteen. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under Saudi law.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and disputes are subject to its courts. Questions: support@rahapay.app.
